We offer you a unique experience of Dugi Otok! You get a chance to visit the Submarine military tunnel on a stand-up paddle, have a great view from Veli Rat lighthouse, paddle from Lopata cape to the most famous beach on the island - Sakarun, play a traditional game of balote and visit the most popular place of Dugi Otok - Sali. And if you are coming with the earlier boat Melita at 5:45 from Zadar we will visit Brbišćica bay and unique Golubinka cave.

Veli Rat lighthouse
The highest lighthouse in the Adriatic is located on Dugi Otok island, nearby the village Veli Rat. It was built in 1849 and with its impressive 42 m height it stands as a landmark of the north-western part of the island.

We had a fantastic full day tour on Long island. Entance to WW2 submarine tunel is amazing experience and view from lighthouse on Veli rat is unbelivable!
Roko was great as guide, always there to explain everything... Big recommondation!!!

Roko is a wonderful tour guide to cherish your day around Dugi Otok. We loved the friendly atmosphere he created during the whole tour. We had no idea about SUP but at the end of the day all of us was doing SUP. Group size is small enough to make the most out of the day. There will also be beautiful sceneries, various SUP points and a great pizza. Totally recommended!

Perfect day touring a stunning location by a passionate local guide. This day is very undersold!! The tour is the perfect blend of paddlebording, sightseeing and with food and drink stops and even local games. If you want eight solid hours of paddle boarding then this is not the trip for you, but if you want a well organised introduction to paddle boarding in some stunning locations with relaxed visits to remote tavernas and wild swimming stops with a true cultural experience then join Vala Tours! Can’t recommend this day enough!

Me and my partner loved the tour. Even though it was only the two of us, Roko took his time and did the tour with us.
We both were bloody beginners on the SUP but he gave us a tutorial and had much patience with us when we struggled.
He showed us around different places on Dugi Otok both by foot and by SUP and we had the chance to see places away from the typical touristy sites.
You get the chance to catch the spirit of the islanders and get to know why they love their country with all of its beautiful nature.
Playing balote/boccia and drinking some very tasty wine was the perfect way to end this eventful day.
We can only recommend this tour to everyone wanting an active vacation away from mass tourism.

We had a great day with Roko. Paddleboarding around the coast and to the WW2 tunnel, and he made it work well when our 12 year old struggled a bit in the strong current. Always felt safe. Wonderful view from the top of Veli Rat lighthouse, lovely lunch at a pizzeria and more paddle boarding around Sakharun bay. Finished with some bowls, homemade wine and apple juice. This felt like a small personal tour and Roko was a great guide. He clearly knows Dugi Otok very well and takes you to places you wouldn’t go on a bigger, busier tour. Highly recommend and very good value for the experience.
